About Us

St. Paul Lutheran Church is a congregation of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America).  Established in 1884, we are celebrating our 125th anniversary in 2009.

At St. Paul, you will find

A lively Sunday School program for all ages.  Our Sunday School choir sings in worship each month.

LYO (Lutheran Youth Organization) - our youth meet regularly for study, fun, and service.

JOY group (Just Older Youth) - a group of young at heart folks who meet for study, fellowship, and service.  State Center looks forward to the JOYgroup fish fries each lent.

WELCA (Women of the ELCA) - women who meet often to carry out many ministries in our congregation and community.  Quilting, care baskdets, visits to shut-ins, and food pantry collections are just a few of their ministries.  The whole town shows up for the ice cream social each July.

A wide variety of music - from traditional to contemporary.  We have a pipe organ for our traditional worship, adult choir, two hand bell choirs, God Infusion (our praise band), piano and keyboard,

A video projection system - To enhance our worship.

People of all ages - growing in faith, serviing our lord.
