Worship
Worship is our greatest joy as followers of Jesus. We gather each week to offer thanks and praise to God. At St. Paul we strive to provide worship experiences that build up the body of Christ in this place.
From the Sunday after Labor Day through Memorial Day, we have a Contemporary Worship service at 8:00 AM. In this informal setting, we celebrate the Lord's Supper each Sunday and sing contemporary songs. Our 10:00 AM service is a traditional liturgical service with pipe organ and choirs. We celebrate the Lord's Supper on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month and on festival Sundays.
We have installed a video projection system to enhance our worship. Some folks like it because they can easily follow the service without a book or bulletin. Otherls like the video songs we can use. Still others enjoy the 'special things' we can include such as pictures of out confirmation students and graduating seniors. We continue to 'tweak' the system to make it work for us in our setting.
Once a month we gather on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 PM for prayers for healing and Holy Communion. We will be exploring some other alternative worship experiences from time to time.
We look forward to having you join us to worship the Lord!
